Half-Time Report: Real Madrid being held by Celta Vigo

Real Madrid and Celta Vigo both fail to score in the first half of tonight's La Liga clash at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid have been held to a goalless first half in tonight's La Liga clash with Celta Vigo at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The visitors created the first opening against the run of play on seven minutes as Charles's curled effort was tipped around the post by Diego Lopez.

Madrid then seized more control of the match following that early scare, but Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo both failed to convert their chances inside the Celta box.

Despite Madrid looking the more likely to score, the away side almost went ahead on 34 minutes when Hugo Mallo headed over from a corner and Rafinha's deflected drive fell inches wide of the post moments later.
