Carlo Ancelotti praises Gareth Bale

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti praises Gareth Bale following the Welshman's double in Sunday's 2-0 win over Levante.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has said that he saw "a more motivated" Gareth Bale in Sunday's league clash against Levante.

Bale has faced widespread criticism in Madrid following a run of eight games without a goal in the league, but the Welshman ended that drought with a double against Levante.

Ancelotti believes that Bale had "more eagerness" to impress and also praised his team's overall concentration at the Bernabeu.

"I saw a more motivated Bale, with more eagerness... the entire team had better concentration also," Ancelotti told reporters.

Bale has been strongly linked with a return to the Premier League in recent months.
