Atletico Madrid midfielder Mario Suarez has said that he is now in "perfect condition" following a recent serious head injury.
The Spanish international spent the night in hospital earlier this month after clashing heads with teammate Cristian Ansaldi during a pre-season match with Wolfsburg.
However, ahead of tonight's Spanish Super Cup first leg against Real Madrid, Suarez has insisted that he is fit to play.
"I've got a good feeling and I'm in perfect condition. It was a shock and so I'm glad [the head injury] was nothing serious," he told AS.
The second leg of the Spanish Super Cup will take place at the Vicente Calderon on Friday.
