Goal
Jordi Codina: Made some smart saves throughout the match and could do very little with any of Real Madrid's goals. Can be fairly pleased with his performance on a personal level. (6/10)
Defence
Alexis: Always willing to mix it in the first period, but the Spaniard struggled when Real Madrid raised the tempo in the second half. Lucky to escape a booking. (6/10)
Naldo: Helped contain Ronaldo & Co for long spells, but like a number of his teammates, struggled in the final 30 minutes. (6/10)
Emiliano Velazquez: Made some crucial challenges, especially in the first period, but found Real Madrid difficult to contain in the second period. Injured Bale with a heavy challenge late on. (6/10)
Roberto Lago: Made a wonderful last-ditch clearance in the early stages and did his best to offer a threat in the final third. Can be pretty pleased with his overall display. (6/10)
Midfield
Pedro Leon: Relishing being back in the team and showed his quality in wide areas against his former club. Departed with little over 15 minutes of football remaining. (6/10)
Juan Rodriguez: Expected to help contain the Real Madrid midfield, but the 32-year-old came up against a classy James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos. (5/10)
Diego Castro: Worked ever-so hard in the middle of the park, but simply ran out of energy in the second period. Cannot really be faulted for his performance. (6/10)
Pablo Sarabia: Tasked with providing support to his forwards, but the Spaniard struggled to make an impact. Could not influence proceedings in the capital. (5/10)
Attack
Sammir: Never stopped working in the final third, but was not rewarded with any real service. Departed with little over five minutes of football remaining. (6/10)
Alvaro Vazquez: Had a glorious chance to put his team on the scoresheet late on, but the Spaniard somehow rattled the post under little pressure. (5/10)
Substitutes
Fredy Hinestroza: Replaced Sarabia after 56 minutes and made a positive impression. Suddenly gave the Real Madrid defence something to think about. (7/10)
Karim Yoda: Brought pace and power to the Getafe attack, and might have won a late penalty. Has made a strong case to start next time out. (7/10)
Alex Felip: Set up Vazquez late on what was an impressive league debut for the Spaniard. Only given the final 10 minutes, but certainly made an impression. (6/10)

REAL MADRID
Goal
Iker Casillas: Had his slippers on in the capital. Was put under pressure late on with a couple of corners, but the Spaniard did not have a single save to make. (6/10)
Defence
Dani Carvajal: So often threatens in the final third, but the right-back was a little reserved here. Was not really troubled. (6/10)
Sergio Ramos: Was far from his best against Atletico Madrid last time out, but this was more like it from the Spaniard. Had a very comfortable afternoon. (6/10)
Raphael Varane: Another classy performance from the centre-back, who did not put a foot wrong. Surely Real Madrid are not thinking about selling the Frenchman. (7/10)
Marcelo: As always, the Brazilian almost played as a left-winger. Caused problems with a couple of dangerous crosses and was not really worried defensively. (7/10)
Midfield
Toni Kroos: Another excellent performance from the German, who simply does not concede possession. Kept things ticking over and rattled the crossbar in the first period. (7/10)
Isco: Was always prepared to take control of the ball, but it did not really happen for the Spaniard. Plenty of guile and work-rate, but little end product. (6/10)
James Rodriguez: Had a super afternoon. Set up Real Madrid's first two goals with two excellent deliveries from the left. Always looked a threat in forward areas. (8/10)
Attack
Gareth Bale: Had a frustrating first period, but came to the forefront in the second. Scored his side's second with a very clever first-time finish. (7/10)
Karim Benzema: Did not really happen in front of goal for the Frenchman, but he set up Ronaldo for the opener with a wonderful piece of play. An excellent team player. (7/10)
Cristiano Ronaldo: Like a number of his teammates, was far from his best in the first period, but burst into life late on. His brace made it 28 league goals for the season. (8/10)
Substitutes
Sami Khedira: Slotted effortlessly into the middle of the park after replacing Isco late on. The German's long-term future, however, remains uncertain. (6/10)
Asier Illarramendi: Only given the final 10 minutes, but helped keep Getafe at bay as the home side finished on the front foot. (6/10)
Nacho: Replaced Marcelo after 82 minutes as the defender got more valuable minutes under his belt. (6/10)
