The agent of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has confirmed that Real Madrid have been in contact over a summer move for the Polish international.
Lewandowski, 27, scored 42 goals in 51 appearances for Bayern last term and has a contract at the Allianz Arena until 2019.
Speculation of a summer move to Real Madrid has not gone away, however, and now representative Cezary Kucharski has revealed that the Spanish giants want to bring the striker to Spain.
"Real Madrid contacted us a few weeks ago and we've had several meetings," Kucharsky told Der Spiegel. "They're a big and exciting club and we've heard from them. Bayern have also informed us that there has been contact with Real Madrid."
Lewandowski has netted 67 goals in 100 games for Bayern since making the move from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2014.
