Chelsea have reportedly opened negotiations with Juventus over a potential £80m summer transfer for midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman, also heavily linked with Real Madrid of late, is said to be willing to join the Stamford Bridge club.
According to Get French Football News, Chelsea have been in constant contact with Juventus over a move that they are desperate to get over the line to mark Antonio Conte's arrival in style.
Pogba claimed last month that he was happy to remain in Turin for the long term, while the Italian giants also issued a hands-off warning by stressing that none of the club's title-winning players was up for sale.
However, the same report suggests that only one stumbling block now remains in place before a deal can be finalised - reaching an agreement over the France international's true valuation.
Pogba, who who departed Manchester United in 2012 when contract negotiations broke down, was thought to be close to joining Barcelona 12 months ago before the Catalan club's priorities turned elsewhere.
