Paris Saint-Germain winger Neymar has reportedly told the club that he wants to leave for Real Madrid this summer.
Neymar only joined the Ligue 1 outfit from Barcelona in a world-record £200m deal last year, but reports quickly emerged suggesting that he was unhappy in the French capital.
Barca's bitter rivals Real Madrid are regarded as favourites for his signature, and speculation over another blockbuster move for the Brazilian has steadily grown throughout the season.
Goal.com now reports that Neymar has made it clear to the club that he wants to leave, despite their determination to keep him.
PSG are willing to play hardball with the 26-year-old, whose contract at the Parc des Princes runs until 2022, despite lining up Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski as a possible replacement.
Neymar's agent Pini Zahavi, who also represents Lewandowski, is understood to have met with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez earlier this month before meeting with Neymar's lawyer a day later.
The Brazil international has not played since February due to injury, but scored 28 goals and assisted 19 more in just 30 games before being sidelined.
