Real Madrid reportedly send representatives to Paris with a view to concluding a deal for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar.

Real Madrid have reportedly sent representatives to Paris with a view to concluding a deal for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar ahead of bitter rivals Barcelona.

Spain's two biggest clubs are said to be going head to head for the signature of the 27-year-old, who is expected to leave PSG before the European transfer window closes on September 2.

Barca have reportedly had an opening bid for the Brazil international rejected, with the Spanish champions wanting to take the attacker on loan for the 2019-20 campaign before a permanent deal next summer.

According to Marca, Madrid have now sent a delegation of representatives to the French capital in the hope of concluding a deal as Los Blancos are in a better financial position than Barca.

Neymar, who has scored 51 times in 58 appearances for PSG in all competitions, has also been linked with a move to Juventus in recent days.

The South American is yet to feature for the French champions this season amid the speculation surrounding his future.
