Real Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement with Kylian Mbappe to sign the forward from Paris Saint-Germain for free in the summer.
It has been well documented over the last year that Los Blancos have identified the 23-year-old as their primary target, and despite failing with a £154m bid last summer, they still hold a firm interest in landing the Frenchman, who is out of contract in June.
According to German news outlet Bild, Real Madrid have finally made a breakthrough in their pursuit of the 2018 World Cup winner, who has agreed to join the club as a free agent when his PSG deal expires.
The report adds that Mbappe has agreed a contract package worth around £41.5m per year, though the length of the deal remains unknown.
PSG were hopeful of tying Mbappe down to a new long-term deal; however, the forward seemingly has his eyes set on a dream move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Mbappe, who is regarded as one of the best forwards in world football, has scored 151 goals and provided 77 assists in 199 appearances for PSG across all competitions.
