Gerard Pique to miss two weeks?

A calf injury will reportedly keep Barcelona defender Gerard Pique on the sidelines for the next two weeks.

Barcelona centre-back Gerard Pique will reportedly spend the next two weeks on the sidelines after picking up a calf injury in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Real Sociedad.

Although the injury is not considered to be serious, it is believed that the Spanish international will sit out the next 14 days for the La Liga champions.

According to AS, there are concerns over his involvement in the second leg of the last-16 Champions League clash with Manchester City at the start of next month.

Barcelona's defeat at the Anoeta in San Sebastian – a ground where they have not won in seven years – left them in second position in the table.
