Jonathan Walters captains the Republic of Ireland for tonight's friendly against Poland in Poznan.

Jonathan Walters has been named as captain for the Republic of Ireland's friendly against Poland in Poznan tonight.

Manager Martin O'Neill has made a total of seven changes following last week's 3-0 win over Latvia.

David Forde starts in goal, while Stephen Kelly and Sean St Ledger are included in defence.

Walters joins Paul Green in midfield, and there are places for Anthony Stokes and Shane Long in attack.
