Roma are believed to be preparing a fresh contract for Argentine attacker Erik Lamela.
The 21-year-old's current deal runs until 2016, but talkSPORT believes that the Giallorossi are keen on warding off interest from Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Lamela has scored 14 goals in 27 appearances in Serie A this season, which has enhanced his reputation as one of the brightest prospects currently playing in Europe.
He moved to the Italian capital in a €12m (£10.2m) deal from River Plate in 2011, shortly after making his international debut in a friendly game against Paraguay.
