Report: Rotherham United hold Kenny Jackett talks

A report claims that former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett is in talks with Rotherham United over their vacant managerial post.

Rotherham United are reportedly in talks with former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett over succeeding Alan Stubbs as the Championship side's new head coach.

Rotherham, who are five points adrift at the bottom of the Championship table, relieved Stubbs of his duties on Wednesday, just four months after the former Everton defender took control of the Millers.

According to Sky Sports News, Rotherham want a replacement before this weekend's league match with Reading and are currently in talks with Jackett, who left his position with Wolves just before the start of the 2016-17 campaign.

Jackett, 54, managed Watford, Swansea City and Millwall before a three-year spell with Wolves, which came to an end following a change of ownership at Molineux.
