Saint-Etienne 1-2 Lille

Benoit Pedretti hits a superb last-minute winner as Lille begin Ligue 1 life without Eden Hazard by beating Saint-Etienne at Stade Geoffrey-Guichard.

Lille began Ligue 1 life without Eden Hazard in style with a last-minute win against Saint-Etienne at Stade Geoffrey-Guichard.

Following a subdued first half, Lille went ahead on 58 minutes when Aurelien Chedjou headed home from Dimitri Payet's whipped free-kick.

That goal sparked the hosts into action and they were deservedly level 16 minutes later as Romain Hamouma marked his St Etienne debut with a thunderous effort from 10 yards.

With the game seemingly headed for a draw, Benoit Pedretti produced an unstoppable right-footed shot from the centre of the box that flew into the top right corner in stoppage time.
