Team News: David Goodwillie handed first Scotland start

David Goodwillie starts his first game for Scotland tonight against Lithuania at Hampden Park.

David Goodwillie has been selected to lead the line for Scotland during their must-win Euro 2012 qualifier against Lithuania at Hampden Park this evening.

Manager Craig Levein revealed yesterday that he would have no problem handing the Blackburn Rovers striker his first start due to Kenny Miller and Craig Makail-Smith's unavailability.

Goodwillie will be supported by attacking midfielders Steven Naismith and James Morrison, while Darren Fletcher will continue to captain the side.

Scotland: McGregor; Whittaker, Caldwell, Berra, Bardsley; Naismith, Fletcher, Cowie, Bannan, Morrison; Goodwillie.

Lithuania: Karcemarskas; Cesnauskis, Klimavicius, Zaliukas, Kijanskas; Semberas, Pilibaitis, Radavicius, Mikoliunas; Sernas, Labukas.
