Russ Wilcox has been named the permanent manager of Scunthorpe United.
The 49-year-old had been in caretaker charge of the League Two club ever since Brian Laws's departure last month.
Since then, the Iron have gone on to collect 13 points from a possible 15.
"Scunthorpe United can confirm Russ Wilcox has been appointed as the club's first team manager," read a message on the club's official Twitter page. "He replaces Brian Laws following a successful caretaker spell in charge which yielded four wins and a draw from five games and saw United climb into the League Two automatic promotion places."
Wilcox spent six years as a player at Glanford Park.
