UEFA are to open a probe into the abandonment of Serbia's Euro 2016 qualifier against Albania last night.
The politically-charged contest was called to a halt shortly before half time after a drone containing a pro-Albanian banner was flown over the pitch in Belgrade.
Serbia defender Stefan Mitrovic pulled the flag down which then sparked a melee between both sets of players, leaving referee Martin Atkinson with little choice but to lead the teams off the field.
"You saw what happened and at this point I cannot speculate further as to who was responsible and accountable. UEFA will take further steps on the basis of the official report," match delegate Hari Bin is quoted as saying by Serbian publication Sportske.
The game was poised at 0-0 before being postponed.
