Southampton's Jordy Clasie out for up to three weeks

A hamstring problem rules out Southampton midfielder Jordy Claise for the next three weeks.

Southampton midfielder Jordy Clasie has been ruled out of action for up to three weeks.

The summer signing from Feyenoord picked up a hamstring injury during the recent Europa League qualifying clash against Vitesse.

Although the complaint is not expected to keep the 24-year-old out for too long, manager Ronald Koeman admitted today that he could be sidelined until early September.

Koeman also revealed that centre-back Steven Caulker will miss this weekend's encounter against Everton because of a sinus infection.
