Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque hints that Cesc Fabregas could start in place of Fernando Torres in Saturday's Euro 2012 quarter-final against France.

Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque has hinted that Cesc Fabregas could start Saturday's Euro 2012 quarter-final against France.

The Barcelona midfielder has been left on the bench for the defending champions' last two matches in place of striker Fernando Torres.

However, Del Bosque suggested to reporters that Fabregas could be brought back in this weekend.

"I haven't decided the team, that is why we have doubts," he said. "We have great players and any of them can play. We have lots of different options and we will just try and pick the best of them.

"We will see tomorrow [Saturday] about the team but Cesc is an option. He is a great player and he can play in different positions as he does for Barcelona. We will try to use the benefits of players who are in their top form."

Spain go into the match having never beaten Les Bleus in a major tournament.
