Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Pacos de Ferreira

Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Europa Conference League battle with Pacos de Ferreira.

Tottenham Hotspur will aim to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg of their Europa Conference League playoff tie against Pacos de Ferreira on Thursday night in North London.

A much-changed Spurs side fell victim to a Lucas Silva winner last week in Portugal but have another 90 minutes to turn the tie on its head in front of their own supporters.

Nuno Espirito Santo paid a visit to his former club Wolverhampton Wanderers over the weekend, and the Portuguese had the last laugh, with Dele Alli's penalty securing a 1-0 win for Spurs to maintain their perfect start to the Premier League season.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Tanguy Ndombele

Status: Out
Type of injury: Other
Possible return date: Unknown

Tanguy Ndombele has been frozen out of the team under Nuno and is widely expected to move on this month, making an appearance in midweek seem very unlikely.

Joe Rodon

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: September 11 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Joe Rodon's start to the 2021-22 season has been hampered by an unspecified injury, and Santo has admitted that while the Welshman is feeling "much better", he will still miss out here.

Cristian Romero

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Fitness
Possible return date: August 26 (vs. Pacos)

Cristian Romero made his competitive debut for Spurs in last week's first leg but was seen struggling come the full-time whistle. Nuno affirmed that the Argentine was simply fatigued, though, and he should be available for selection here.

Cameron Carter-Vickers

Possible return date: Unknown

Cameron Carter-Vickers played 87 minutes of last week's first leg before sustaining an ankle injury, which Nuno admitted did not look good, and he will not return in time for the second leg.

SPURS' SUSPENSION LIST

Tottenham have no players suspended for the second leg.
