Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. West Bromwich Albion

Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League meeting with West Bromwich Albion.

Tottenham Hotspur travel to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday in their final Premier League outing before the last international break of 2020.

Spurs beat Ludogorets Razgrad 3-1 in the Europa League on Thursday to make it 10 wins from 14 matches this season.

Focus now switches back to the domestic league, with Jose Mourinho's men seeking all three points against strugglers West Brom to remain in early title contention.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest in the West Midlands.

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: November 8 (vs. West Brom)

Japhet Tanganga has been recovering from what was described as a "quite important injury". Mourinho recently suggested that the young full-back is not far away from a return, though that is likely to be after the two-week break.

Erik Lamela

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Manchester City)

Having been struggling with a few minor injury issues in recent weeks, Mourinho has taken the decision to give Erik Lamela a rest. The Argentina international will be back in contention for the meeting with Manchester City in two weeks' time.

Sergio Reguilon

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: November 8 (vs. West Brom)

Sergio Reguilon missed the meeting with Ludogorets due to illness, which Mourinho was quick to point out is not coronavirus-related. The former Real Madrid man is expected to be back involved against West Brom.

Serge Aurier

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: November 8 (vs. West Brom)

Serge Aurier's absence against Ludogorets was put down to "a little problem". Tottenham will assess the right-back before making a decision on his availability for Sunday's match.

Spurs have no players suspended for this Premier League clash.
