Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Tottenham Hotspur face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on Sunday afternoon looking for a win which would take them above their hosts in the Premier League table.

The two clubs - managed by Portuguese duo Nuno Espirito Santo and Jose Mourinho - head into the weekend with their respective clubs sitting just a point apart in sixth and seventh position respectively.

However, while Mourinho opted to rest players for the Champions League fixture with Bayern Munich in midweek, the newly-appointed boss still has a number of fitness issues to contend with ahead of this meeting.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the North London outfit's latest injury and suspension news ahead of this contest.

Hugo Lloris

Status: Out
Type of injury: Elbow
Possible return date: Unknown

Following an operation on an elbow ligament problem in October, the Spurs captain is not expected to make a return to action until the new year.

Erik Lamela

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: December 15 (vs. Wolves)

Mourinho revealed last week that Lamela was continuing his rehabilitation as he bids to recover from a thigh problem. Having been left out against Bayern, the Argentine could return to the substitutes' bench at the weekend.

Michel Vorm

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: December 22 (vs. Chelsea)

While Vorm only picked up what was described as a minor calf problem last month, he is yet to return to the first-team squad. The Dutchman is likely to stay out of contention until later in December.

Ben Davies

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Having undergone an operation on an ankle injury, Davies will not play any part until the early months of 2020.

Harry Winks

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: December 15 (vs. Wolves)

While Winks has missed the last two matches with an ankle injury, the England international is expected to be involved in the 18-man squad for the match at Molineux.

Tanguy Ndombele

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: December 15 (vs. Wolves)

Like Winks, Ndombele has been sidelined for the last two games with a minor injury. However, with no risks being taken in midweek, it would come as a surprise if the summer signing is not recalled to the squad for the visit to the West Midlands.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST

Spurs have no players who are suspended for this match.
