Coming off their first win of the season last weekend, Newcastle United travelled to Tottenham Hotspur for their next Premier League game on Sunday afternoon.
Alan Pardew's side went into half time 1-0 down but then fought back with two goals in the second 45 to make it back-to-back wins and lift themselves out of the bottom three.

Starting with the visitors Newcastle, Alan Pardew makes one change to the side that beat Leicester City 1-0 last weekend - Papiss Cisse is out with a knee problem so Ayoze Perez makes his first Premier League start as the Magpies' striker.
Spurs, meanwhile, make two changes to their last league lineup, with Jan Vertonghen and Emmanuel Adebayor chosen ahead of Federico Fazio (suspended) and Roberto Soldado (dropped to the bench).
The home side have also been in European action since then, beating Asteras Tripolis 5-1 at the Lane. Six of the team who started on Thursday are present in the XI today, but one of them isn't Harry Kane, who scored a hat-trick in the rout.

REFEREE WATCH! The man in charge at White Hart Lane today is Anthony Taylor, who was in European action himself on Thursday night when refereeing the Europa League tie between Inter Milan and Saint-Etienne.
The other Premier League match kicking off at 1.30pm takes place at Turf Moor as still-winless Burnley welcome Everton. If you want to follow that game as well, then open this link in a new tab.
Anyway, back to today's match in North London. Spurs will undoubtedly start the match as favourites and their recent record against Newcastle is decent - they've won four of the last five games at home to the Magpies. However, the one game they didn't win was last season when Loic Remy scored the only goal of the game.
Their most recent meeting was on February 12 earlier this year and that day at St James' Park it was all Spurs as they cruised to a 4-0 win in the North-East. Emmanuel Adebayor scored two that day, can he be a nuisance again today?

Speaking of young striker Perez making his full Magpies debut, Alan Pardew says: "He has impressed in cameos but he has to deliver on the big stage today."

Newcastle will come into this one on a high after they finally registered a league win at home to Leicester last weekend. It took them eight games to get there and they're still in the bottom three. Win today, though, and they'll go 13th. A point will be enough to lift them out of the drop zone and, crucially, will see North-East rivals Sunderland leapfrogged.

One real positive for Newcastle fans today is that Ryan Taylor is back in the matchday squad after over two years away. He's had two serious injuries but will now hope to get himself back in the starting lineup.

Plenty will be expected of Spurs' Argentine playmaker Erik Lamela after his wondergoal in Europe on Thursday. If you haven't seen it yet, take a look at his first-time 'rabona' finish:
Lamela did not have a happy season last term after a £30m+ switch from Roma. He has enjoyed himself more this season under Pochettino, though, creating 14 Premier League chances compared to just six in the whole of last season.
Given the importance of Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Nacer Chadli behind Adebayor in the Spurs attack, you feel that Vurnon Anita's role in the Newcastle midfield will be crucial today. He will sit in front of the back four and try to limit the influence of the hosts' playmaking trio.
Cisse's absence could be a big blow to Newcastle. He has proved vital in multiple games this season and there is now so much pressure on Perez to not get overawed. White Hart Lane is a pretty imposing place to make your full Premier League debut.
PREDICTION TIME! Just 10 minutes until kickoff in N17 so it's time for my prediction on the match ahead. If you watched Matt and Barney, you would have seen that Matt predicted a Spurs win, while Barney thinks it will be a draw. I'm going to side with Matt and plump for a 3-1 home win.
I just think that with Newcastle's troubles away from home - they are without a win on the road in nine league games - and the fact that none of the last 17 league games between these two at White Hart Lane has been a draw, Spurs are the obvious choice.
In the hour or so before kickoff, Spurs have been marking the 10-year anniversary since former player, manager and general club legend Bill Nicholson passed away. Fans were invited to sign a wall of tribute and the players wore these tops to warm up in:

Spurs are in their home colours of white and navy, while Newcastle don their rather horrible half navy, half green away kit. Almost so bad it's good!

Wild appeals for handball by Rose after Taylor came across and nipped the ball away from him in the area. Taylor had a good look, but decided against awarding a penalty.
It's been a high-tempo start by Spurs, with Newcastle barely out of their half yet.

Back to the Lane, where Spurs centre-back Younes Kaboul has just gone on an impressive run down the right but then massively overhit his cross. Best stick to central defence, Younes.
Back in the side and clearly keen to make an impression, Vertonghen tries his luck from well over 30 yards. It's well hit, as it often is by the Belgian, but Newcastle keeper Krul isn't worried as the ball sails over the top.

Half-chance for Eriksen as Taylor can only head up, rather than away, and the Dane takes on the first-time volley but can only drag it wide of the target.
Perez has the chance to set Sissoko away down the left but he doesn't see the Frenchman and the chance goes begging.
Spurs with another shot from distance, this time by Mason, but like Vertonghen and Eriksen before, it's nowhere near the target.
80%-20% reads the early possession count in Spurs' favour.
Newcastle's first shot of the afternoon comes from the boot of Dummett. His effort is just as bad as the three that Spurs have had.
CHANCE! Sissoko's ball into the middle is a really dangerous one and although Lloris gets there ahead of Obertan, he can only punch it to Colback. The midfielder has to take it early and can't quite sort his feet out so only nudges it wide with his weaker right peg.
GOAL! SPURS 1-0 NEWCASTLE (ADEBAYOR)
Spurs break the deadlock after a promising few minutes for Newcastle. It's a first goal in two months for the Togolese as he rises highest at the back post to meet a lovely clipped cross from Mason.
UPDATE! And a second goal at Turf Moor too as Burnley equalise through Danny Ings - his first goal in the Premier League after loads in the Championship in Burnley's promotion season.
Spurs' tails are up and Rose should do much better with his shot from 20 yards after some neat play from Eriksen and Lamela in the middle.
BOOKING! First yellow card of the game is shown to Obertan after he clearly tripped Dier who was breaking down the right wing.
Tottenham goalscorer Adebayor oddly pulls up and drags himself off the pitch after seemingly rolling his ankle innocuously with no Newcastle player near him. He seems to be OK, though, and will continue.

Spurs want a penalty and again it's Rose involved as he cuts across Obertan and tumbles in the area. It looks for a moment as if Taylor has pointed to the spot, but he was actually signalling for a goal kick.
UPDATE! A third goal in Lancashire and Everton are back in front thanks to Romelu Lukaku. Great news for my fantasy football team!
Newcastle win a corner, but it's come to nothing. They had that good little spell shortly before Spurs' goal, but apart from that it's been a muted display from the visitors.
Adebayor's goal is the only shot on target that Spurs have had in the opening half an hour. They've had eight shots in total, with all three of Newcastle's missing the goal.

Sissoko cuts in from the left and appears to be brought down by Dier right on the edge of the box just as he was about to shoot. The ball drops the way of Colback, whose shot is blocked, but I'm sure Newcastle would have taken the free kick there. Not quite sure how Taylor hasn't blown up.
Worrying for Newcastle as Sissoko stays down after that tackle. He should be OK to continue and Pardew will hope that he doesn't have to take him off as he's been the visitors' brightest spark.
I said before the game that I was worried about Perez starting as a lone striker for the Magpies and he has been non-existent so far. Pardew has few options from the bench though with Emmanuel Riviere and Papiss Cisse both out.
CHANCE! Sloppy defending from Newcastle leaves Chadli all alone at the back post from Eriksen's free kick. The Dane puts it on a plate for his teammate, who takes it on the volley and skies it way over the top.
Two minutes of added time have been signalled by the fourth official. Spurs are all over Newcastle, who will be desperate for that half-time whistle.

Adebayor's 18th-minute header is what separates Spurs and Newcastle then. The hosts do deserve their lead, but it's not been the best of games.
Mason has probably been the most impressive Tottenham player and his dinked cross was a beauty for Adebayor to head back across Krul into the net.

And a neat stat from Squawka Football - Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris completed more passes (12) in the first half than any Newcastle midfielder.
The hosts have had 69% possession and if Newcastle are going to do anything here, you feel that they have to do more in the middle.

GOAL! SPURS 1-1 NEWCASTLE (AMEOBI)
SEVEN SECONDS! SEVEN SECONDS! What a substitution and great start to the second half for Newcastle!
A simply incredible start to the second half as Newcastle kick off, play the ball back to Colback and he fires it inside Dier for the run of Ameobi and he smashes it across Lloris into the far corner. Well thought-out by Newcastle, but simply inexcusable defending by Dier.
You have to credit Pardew for coming up with that kickoff routine. It wasn't particularly intricate, but why not give it a go. So often you see teams simply hoof the ball forward and hope to win the header. That was planned and provided a goal within seven seconds.
BOOKING! Colback is the second Newcastle player to be cautioned after pulling back Lamela. The other player yellow-carded, Obertan, has gone off.
CHANCE! Spurs should be back in front. Rose cuts the ball back into the path of Eriksen, who has time to take a touch before his shot from inside the box is fantastically blocked by Coloccini.
GOAL! SPURS 1-2 NEWCASTLE (PEREZ)
Ayoze Perez with the pinpoint header on his full debut for Newcastle! He'd done virtually nothing for the whole game up until this point but has just flicked home Cabella's cross beautifully. Both substitutes have had a big impact for the visitors.
What now for Spurs? They looked so comfortable in the first half but are in real danger of suffering a shock defeat. Surely Pochettino will be thinking about a change. He has the likes of Aaron Lennon, Roberto Soldado and Thursday night's hat-trick hero Harry Kane among the subs.

BOOKING! Capoue is the first Spurs player to be cautioned as Taylor retrospectively flashes a yellow after an earlier tug on Colback.
SIDE-NETTING! Cabella gets to the ball just before Kaboul and should square for Perez in the middle. For some reason, he tries to beat Lloris at the near post from a near-impossible angle and doesn't even hit the target. Poor.
Adebayor's tees it up for Eriksen to hit on the edge of the box and it takes a deflection before spooning up and out for a corner.
SPURS SUB: Kane it is who comes on for Spurs, with the ineffective Capoue coming off. That'll be a change in shape for the hosts then with two strikers on the field now.
DISALLOWED! Spurs think they've equalised when a corner is bellied into his own net by Krul. However, the linesman saw that the delivery had curled out of play before it hit the Magpies keeper.
CHANCE! It might not have been as quick as Ameobi's impact, but Kane almost finds the net within minutes of coming on as Rose, who has been a livewire down the left, fires in a low cross that the substitute can only turn straight at Krul.
Newcastle have been pretty clinical this afternoon - two shots on target, two goals.
Spurs have plenty of numbers coming forward but they can't take advantage as Eriksen's shot from 20 yards takes a deflection and bobbles a good yard or so wide. From the resulting corner, Dier can't flick Lamela's inswinger on target.
It looks like Lennon is being summoned from his warm-up and that he'll be the next substitution for Spurs. Lamela has petered out a lot in the second half and will probably be the one to make way.
SPURS SUB: Indeed it is Lamela who comes off. Can Lennon have an impact, or is it too little too late for Spurs?
Ten minutes of normal time remaining. Newcastle are on the verge of their second straight win and are set to climb out of the drop zone.
It looks like Adebayor won't be continuing for much longer. Soldado likely to come on.
SPURS SUB: Off comes the Tottenham goalscorer, can Soldado do anything to salvage a point for the home side. After this second-half display, they don't really deserve it.
Lennon's shot from the edge of the area after a corner was half-cleared in his direction is a volley that is swiped miles over the top.
UPDATE! A fourth goal at Turf Moor and it's game over for Burnley as Everton take a 3-1 lead through Samuel Eto'o's lovely strike.
Groans from the home fans as Soldado barges into Krul to gift Newcastle a free kick and the opportunity to waste a few more seconds.
CLOSE! Almost an equaliser for Spurs as Soldado and Kane keep the ball neatly on the edge of the box before the latter is played in on the right side of the box. Instead of trying to pick out a certain teammate, he simply lashes it across the six-yard box and somehow it goes all the way through without getting a touch.
BOOKING! Spurs' best player, Rose, is booked as FIVE minutes are added on. Where did they come from?!
Soldado with a chance to rescue a point for the home side but he can only weakly slice his effort from close range.
Time almost up here and it will be a truly excellent win for Newcastle if they can take three points back up to the North-East.
FULL-TIME: SPURS 2-1 NEWCASTLE
Some second half from Newcastle as they make it back-to-back wins by coming from behind to beat Tottenham Hotspur, who now have just one win in seven since opening the season with two straight wins.
The game hinged on Newcastle's equaliser seven seconds into the second half. Spurs weren't fully awake and Dier allowed substitute Ameobi to get in behind him before smashing home. If Spurs hadn't conceded such a poor goal, things probably would have been very different as Newcastle were blunt in the first half.
