Blackburn Rovers make Tim Sherwood approach?

Blackburn Rovers reportedly want former captain and current Spurs assistant coach Tim Sherwood as their next manager.

Blackburn Rovers are reportedly ready to make an approach to Tottenham Hotspur with the view of making assistant coach Tim Sherwood their new manager.

Current boss Steve Kean's future remains in the balance, despite the club being third in the Championship table.

Rovers could now turn to former captain Sherwood to take the reins at Ewood Park, according to the Daily Mail.

Sherwood, who is thought to be keen on furthering his coaching career, skippered the team to the Premier League title back in 1995 with Kenny Dalglish as manager.
