Etienne Capoue pleased with Tottenham Hotspur debut

Etienne Capoue admits that he is pleased with his Tottenham Hotspur debut following Sunday's 1-0 win at Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Etienne Capoue has admitted that he is pleased with his debut following Sunday's win at Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

The Frenchman, who recently joined the club from Toulouse, came off the bench during the 1-0 victory at Selhurst Park.

"I'm feeling great," Capoue, 25, told L'Equipe. "I knew England was a great league and I saw that in my very first match.

"There is a lot of intensity. My teammates helped me a lot to feel at ease. Moreover we started with a win, which is perfect."

Spurs travel to Georgia on Thursday to face Dinamo Tbilisi in the first leg of their Europa League qualifier.
