Suspended Dele Alli vows to "come back stronger"

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli is planning to "come back stronger" after seeing his season ended by a ban for violent conduct.

Dele Alli has insisted that he "will learn" and "come back stronger" from the three-match suspension that has ended his season.

The Tottenham Hotspur youngster has been hit with a violent conduct charge for a punch that he landed into the stomach of West Bromwich Albion midfielder Claudio Yacob on Monday night.

It means that the 20-year-old will be forced to watch on as Spurs conclude their campaign with games against Chelsea, Southampton and Newcastle United.

"Gutted that my season is over. Shouldn't have reacted like I did. Will learn from this and come back stronger," he wrote on Twitter.

Alli has made 52 appearances for club and country this season.
