Younes Kaboul convinced Tottenham Hotspur will secure Champions League spot

Younes Kaboul believes that Tottenham Hotspur will beat their rivals to finish in the Champions League spots this season.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Younes Kaboul is confident that the North London outfit will finish the season in a Champions League spot.

Spurs remain three points behind fourth-placed Liverpool in the Premier League table after last night's 4-0 win over Newcastle United at St James' Park.

"We need games like that to be up there and if we perform like that in the future, and even better, because you always have to see the best, we are going to play in the Champions League next season, without doubt," Kaboul told Spurs TV.

"We need to keep like that, strong and strong mentally also, keep the concentration for 90, 95 minutes and we should be okay."

Kaboul also believes that head coach Tim Sherwood deserves to be given the job on a permanent basis.
