Spurs playmaker Niko Kranjcar has said that Harry Redknapp has "all the credentials" to be named England boss.
The Croatian, who first starred under Redknapp at Portsmouth before signing for Tottenham in 2009, insists that the former West Ham man is more than capable of replacing England coach Fabio Capello after Euro 2012.
"I think everybody feels he has the attributes to be the England manager," he said. "I think it is his time.
"I have worked with him for a long period and the success he has had with Portsmouth and now with Spurs gives him all the credentials to count himself a person capable of being England's next manager.
"What he does is not a huge secret. He spots a great player, brings him into his club and gets the best out of him."
Redknapp took over at Tottenham in 2008 after spending three seasons in charge at Fratton Park.
