Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris says that his side are showing their character and have bounced back from their defeat to Manchester City in style.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has said that his side are showing their character and have bounced back from their defeat to Manchester City in style.

Spurs were beaten 4-1 by City at the Etihad in December, after which Mauricio Pochettino's side defeated Burnley 3-0 and Southampton 5-2, and Lloris has said that Tottenham's last two results have proven that the club have the character to rediscover their form.

"This team has character," the Frenchman told the club's official website. "We've showed it already in the past and we are showing it at the moment. We are looking forward first to Swansea City and then West Ham United.

"The important thing now is to keep on winning and to keep the confidence high inside our minds. It was so important to continue our momentum against Southampton after playing so well at Burnley.

"Now we have to be ready to start again with a busy week but as I said, we're confident and looking forward to it."

Tottenham's games against Swansea and West Ham, which are just two days apart, are followed by an FA Cup fixture against Wimbledon.
