Mauricio Pochettino "angry" following Tottenham Hotspur defeat

Mauricio Pochettino says that today's defeat to Tottenahm Hotspur has left him feeling "angry" and "frustrated".

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has said that he is "angry" following today's 3-2 defeat at home to Tottenham Hotspur.

Two strikes from Emmanuel Adebayor either side of a Jos Hooiveld own goal helped the North Londoners leave St Mary's with all three points in Tim Sherwood's first Premier League game in charge.

"It was very frustrating, we are very angry about the result," Pochettino told Sky Sports News.

"We started off quite well in the first half, we got the 1-0 and we were very close to getting the 2-0 but then when we conceded the equaliser it was very hard to get back in the game.

"Especially in the second half, it was very tough."

The Saints are ninth in the league.
