West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce says that Hammers fans who are guilty of singing abusive chants to Tottenham Hotspur supporters deserve to be punished.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has condemned the supporters that sang abusive chants during the Hammers' loss to Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.

A collection of West Ham fans could be heard singing anti-Semitic chants during the Hammers' 3-1 defeat to Spurs and some included rounds of hissing to signify the gas chambers used to murder Jewish people during the Holocaust.

"Since the game, it is obviously very disappointing to hear what has been said and done by a very small minority of fans," Allardyce told Sky Sports News.

"The good thing is with security cameras and CCTV cameras, it's difficult for them to get away with it. Hopefully we can pick out those people and punish them in the right way.

"Nobody can condone that sort of behaviour and there is zero tolerance of it at this club. The club, Tottenham and the authorities will deal with it accordingly."

A West Ham fan has since been issued with a lifetime ban from Upton Park.
