Hugo Lloris is not in Tottenham Hotspur's matchday squad as Mauricio Pochettino's charges take on Southampton in Sunday's Premier League clash at St Mary's Stadium.

Hugo Lloris has been left out of Tottenham Hotspur's matchday squad ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Southampton at St Mary's Stadium.

The Spurs goalkeeper and captain has failed to shake off the flu, forcing Mauricio Pochettino to name Michel Vorm in the starting XI and Paulo Gazzaniga among the substitutes.

Pochettino has made two changes from the starting XI which beat Everton 4-0 at Wembley Stadium last time out, with the absent Christian Eriksen replaced by Moussa Sissoko in midfield.

Mauricio Pellegrino, meanwhile, has also made two changes to his starting lineup from the 2-2 draw with Watford on January 13.

Mario Lemina and Manolo Gabbiadini are drafted in, while Steven Davis is on the bench and Shane Long is omitted from the matchday squad.

Southampton: McCarthy; Cedric, Stephens, Hoedt, Bertrand; Lemina, Romeu, Ward-Prowse, Tadic, Hojbjerg; Gabbiadini
Subs: Forster, Pied, Bednarek, Davis, Boufal, Redmond, Obafemi

Tottenham Hotspur: Vorm; Aurier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies; Dier, Dembele; Sissoko, Alli, Son; Kane
Subs: Gazzaniga, Foyth, Trippier, Walker-Peters, Wanyama, Lamela, Llorente
