Out-of-favour Tottenham Hotspur winger David Bentley has signed for Russian outfit FC Rostov on loan until January.
The former England winger failed to secure a move away from White Hart Lane before last Friday's 11pm transfer deadline.
However, the Russian window does not close until Thursday, allowing the 28-year-old to move across Europe on a five-month deal.
Rostov finished 13th in the Russian First Division last season and will welcome the addition of Bentley, who has failed to live up to expectation at Spurs since joining for £16m from Blackburn Rovers in 2008.
