Besiktas vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi has revealed that his club will try to sign Emmanuel Adebayor during the January transfer window.
The Turkish outfit attempted to recruit the Tottenham Hotspur striker in the summer, but a move failed to materialise.
However, Cebi has claimed that plans are now in place for another bid to be lodged for the 29-year-old's services in the winter.
"We were interested in Adebayor in August," he told the club's official television channel. "The club will target Adebayor again in January, but it's difficult to sign such marketable players."
In the same interview, Cebi also admitted that his side are keen on Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho.
