Tottenham Hotspur 'draft five-man midfield shortlist'

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly identify five midfielders whom they may look to sign during the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified five possible additions in midfield ahead of the summer transfer window.

Spurs have made just one first-team signing during the last three transfer windows, but Mauricio Pochettino is likely to be active before the start of the next campaign.

The North London outfit allowed Mousa Dembele to leave for China last month, and it has left Spurs with a space to fill in their senior squad.

According to Calciomercato, Spurs have already put together a shortlist of options and it includes want-away Paris Saint-Germain player Adrien Rabiot.

James Maddison and David Brooks of Leicester City and Bournemouth respectively also feature on the list, while Spurs are said to be admirers of Valencia's Carlos Soler and Ajax's Donny van de Beek.
