Tottenham Hotspur owner Joe Lewis is happy for the North London outfit to reward Son Heung-Min with a lucrative new deal, according to a report.
The South Korea captain has been one of the top performers in the early stages of the 2020-21 campaign, already boasting 10 goals and four assists in all competitions for Jose Mourinho's men.
Given his prolific start to the season, speculation surrounding a new bumper deal for Son has intensified in recent weeks, and the 28-year-old may be granted his wish after the Spurs owner gave the green light for a lucrative extension.
According to Football Insider, Lewis has approved a new £200k-a-week deal for Son in North London, which also includes various performance-related bonuses.
The report also claims that Spurs are confident of wrapping up negotiations before the end of the year and Son is set to pocket as much as Harry Kane currently does at Spurs, with the two attackers combining several times to score for Mourinho's side this season.
Son and Tottenham return to action on Thursday evening when they travel to Bulgaria to take on Ludogorets in the Europa League.
