Celta Vigo forward Maxi Gomez has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.
Mauricio Pochettino failed to make a single first-team signing during the summer, but the Argentine is expected to be active in the January window.
According to El Pais, Spurs could look to strengthen their options in the final third with an approach for in-form Gomez.
The 22-year-old has already contributed six goals and four assists in 10 La Liga outings this season, and the Uruguay international would provide strong competition for Harry Kane.
Borussia Dortmund are also said to be monitoring the progress of the player, who has a contract at Celta Vigo until 2022.
