Tottenham Hotspur have been priced out of a move for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish, according to a report.
The Lilywhites had been tipped to join Manchester United in the hunt for the 24-year-old, who has a combined 13 goals and assists for a struggling Villa side in the Premier League this term.
However, football.london suggests that an approach for Grealish is not a realistic possibility for Spurs because of the finances involved in getting a deal over the line.
Villa are believed to be after around £60m for the former England Under-21s international, a figure which Tottenham are supposedly unable to justify in wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The same report indicates that the North London outfit missed out on the chance to sign Grealish for £24m two summers ago.
