West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur to battle for Manolo Gabbiadini?

Spurs and West Ham prepare to rival one another for the signing of Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are reportedly poised to go to war over the signing of Napoli's Manolo Gabbiadini.

The Italian striker, 24, is contracted to the Serie A side until 2019, but the club might let him leave due to an abundance of attack-minded players.

Jose Callejon, Gonzalo Higuain and Lorenzo Insigne all represent options for Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri, who will cash in on Gabbiadini this summer, according to Italian TV station Sport Mediaset.

Gabbiadini, who was courted by Swansea City in January, is thought to be valued at around £15m by the club's president Aurelio de Laurentiis.

He has netted twice in 17 league appearances this season, though 16 of those were from the bench.
