Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has insisted that his side will end their winless run in the Premier League sooner rather than later.
The Potters only have three points and five goals to show from their opening half-a-dozen fixtures, but ahead of Saturday's clash with Bournemouth, Hughes has suggested that confidence remains high at the Britannia Stadium.
The 51-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "It hasn't been the start we were hoping for - we acknowledge that - but teams like ourselves can go through these runs.
"In my first season here we went six games without a win, and even eight games too, and still finished in ninth position.
"We know that we are a good side at this level, and ideally we will get the points on the board that we merit."
Stoke have not finished lower than 14th position since winning promotion to the top flight in 2008.
