Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has revealed that he is looking to sign on-loan defender Bruno Martins Indi on a permanent basis.
The Porto defender, who was part of the Netherlands side which reached the World Cup semi-final in 2014, has been a regular fixture in the Potters' backline.
Indeed, Martins Indi's contribution since joining the club has led Hughes to seek a permanent deal.
Hughes is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "He has done great and he has done really well, we're really pleased with what he is producing.
"He is a great guy around the place. He is old beyond his years. He is only 24 years of age but has an old head on his shoulders.
"He wants to progress and wants to do well in the Premier League and we want that to be with us if we can."
Martins Indi has 18 months left on his contract with Porto.
