Stoke City have confirmed that forward Jon Walters has signed a new two-and-a-half year contract at the Britannia Stadium.
The 32-year-old had been rumoured to be on the way out of the Premier League club after manager Mark Hughes added Xherdan Shaqiri and Ibrahim Afellay to his squad over the summer.
However, Stoke confirmed that Walters had agreed to remain at the club with an announcement on their official Twitter account on Saturday afternoon.
