Stoke City manager Tony Pulis intends to bring in a couple of players before the end of January.

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has admitted that he would still like to bring in "one or two" more players this January.

Pulis has yet to bolster his ranks in the transfer window, but has admitted that he hopes for this to change before the end of the month.

"We are looking to bring one or two others in if we possibly can," Pulis told Sky Sports News.

"I think we need to freshen it up. We are certainly weak in one or two areas.

"We are trying but it has to be right for the football club, as always."

The current squad has taken Stoke to 10th in the Premier League.
