Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill has admitted that he was "frustrated" with his side after their 2-1 loss to Fulham on Sunday.
Goals from Clint Dempsey and Moussa Dembele recorded three points for the home side, but O'Neill has stated that he was pleased with the general performance of his players.
"I think that we created some great openings, particularly in the second half. That [we didn't take them] was a frustration for us but we played well. Credit to Fulham they played well themselves but we are a bit frustrated," O'Neill told reporters.
The result leaves Sunderland 11th in the Premier League table.
