Team News: Dick Advocaat makes three changes to Sunderland side

Dick Advocaat makes two changes to his Sunderland side against West Ham United for what could be his last game as Black Cats manager.

Dick Advocaat has made three changes to his Sunderland side against West Ham United for what could be his last game as Black Cats manager.

With reports claiming that the Dutchman will leave his role as boss at the Stadium of Light regardless of the result against the Hammers, he has given a first Premier League start to DeAndre Yedlin in defence.

The on-loan Tottenham Hotspur man has replaced Patrick van Aanholt at left-back, while Sebastian Coates also gets a start in defence for the Premier League's bottom side, with Younes Kaboul ruled out through injury.

Steven Fletcher replaces Adam Johnson, who is absent from the squad, as Advocaat chooses to partner the Scot with Fabio Borini in attack and leave top scorer Jermain Defoe on the bench.

For West Ham, Slaven Bilic names an unchanged side following the 2-2 draw with Norwich City last weekend.

Adrian continues in goal after signing a new contract this week, while top scorer Diafra Sakho again leads the line.

Sunderland: Pantilimon; Jones, O'Shea, Coates, Yedlin; Cattermole, M'Vila, Toivonen, Lens; Borini, Fletcher
Subs: Mannone, Van Aanholt, Brown, Larsson, Rodwell, Gomez, Defoe

West Ham United: Adrian; Jenkinson, Reid, Tomkins, Cresswell; Noble, Kouyate; Moses, Payet, Lanzini; Sakho
Subs: Randolph, Zarate, Obiang, Collins, Jelavic, Antonio, Oxford
