Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu could be on the verge of a move to Sunderland, according to reports.
The 21-year-old, who only joined Leverkusen from Hamburg for £10m last summer, scored 11 goals in 46 appearances last season.
His Bundesliga form has attracted the attention of Black Cats boss Dick Advocaat, who is ready to launch a bid for the Turkish international, reports The Metro.
Calhanoglu, who has developed a reputation as a talented set-piece taker, has scored five goals in nine games for his country.
