Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill has suggested that he will attempt to sign a number of forward players at the end of the season.
The Northern Irishmen has found his striking options limited this season, with a mixture of injury and inexperience inhibiting his forward line.
However, O'Neill has claimed that he will address the situation, starting with the future of Arsenal's on-loan striker Nicklas Bendtner.
"Of course it's a position that you would be looking at, considering that one of our main strikers actually is on loan," O'Neill told The Mirror.
"That situation has not been resolved, nor have we had any time to do that. But when you have one of your main strikers as a loan player, then of course it becomes important for you to look at centre-forwards."
Sunderland currently sit 11th in the Premier League table.
