Sunderland boss Gus Poyet to raid old club Brighton for Liam Bridcutt?

Sunderland manager Gus Poyet reportedly fancies a move for Liam Bridcutt of his former club Brighton in January.

Sunderland manager Gus Poyet will reportedly make a move for Liam Bridcutt of his former club Brighton & Hove Albion in January.

According to SportsDirect News, Poyet will be given funds to bolster his struggling squad in January and he fancies a move for midfielder Bridcutt.

The 26-year-old has won Brighton's Player of the Season in the last two campaigns but has struggled to make a proper impact this season, making only six Championship appearances because of injury.

Bridcutt has also made one appearance at international level for Scotland.
