Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup: 'No big deals in the pipeline'

Michael Laudrup says that Swansea City will not be making major moves in the transfer market before the close of the January transfer window.

Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup has said that he is unlikely to make any drastic changes to his squad before the end of the winter transfer window.

The Welsh outfit are believed to be in talks with Bolton Wanderers about striker David Ngog, but the Dane insists that any new arrivals will only be to bolster numbers rather than to improve his first team.

"If someone comes in, it will be to help the squad," talkSPORT quotes the 49-year-old as saying. "We will not be signing a Juan Mata. If someone comes in, it will be to be a part of the squad and not a star."

The Swans are currently four points clear of the Premier League drop zone, but are also in the knockout stages of the Europa League.
