Report: Swansea City eye Lasse Vibe signing

Swansea City reportedly target Danish international Lasse Vibe as a replacement for Wilfried Bony.

Swansea City have reportedly targeted Danish striker Lasse Vibe as a possible replacement for Wilfried Bony.

Swans top-scorer Bony left for Manchester City last month and a new striker is thought to be top of the club's wishlist.

Bafetimbi Gomis is now the Welsh side's number-one option in attack, but he is said to be unsure of a long-term future at Swansea.

According to the Western Mail this evening, Vibe, who scored 23 goals in 26 league games in 2014 for Swedish side Gothenburg, might be the man to replace Bony.

The 27-year-old also has one goal at international level for Denmark.
